 Confirmation Report
As of 2002, I am a PhD student at the University of Queensland. My PhD thesis is titled "Type Inference Based Decompilation". In March 2003, I gave my confirmation seminar.

After the confirmation, I've "downgraded" assembly language decompilers to 3.5 out of 7 (was 5). Type analysis goes down to "some" and declare data to "easy". That's barely higher than an ideal disassembler.
