UQ's RoboRoo Team Homepage

The RoboRoos are a fully autonomous team of small robots that play robot soccer. Fully autonomous means that no human control or input is allowed during play. The RoboRoos compete in the annual RoboCup competitions that are held around the world. The RoboRoos are enjoying a well earned rest after competing in Robocup in July in Lisboa, Portugal. They achieved second place in the world for the second time in a row.

The current generation of RoboRoos are retiring after three hard years of competing in the world competitions and demonstrating to the public. Is it yet to seen if there will be a third generation of RoboRoo robots......

The RoboRoo robots are proud to be based at the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the University of Queensland, Australia.

Another exciting project in UQ's Mobile Robot Lab is the GuRoo project. The GuRoo is a 1.2m high humaniod robot that is allowing research into walking gait algorithms.
