Fast-Track IT Scheme
The University of Queensland's fast-track Bachelor of Information Technology scheme offers all QTAC applicants with an OP 1 or 2 (or equivalent) and who apply to undertake a Bachelor of Information Technology, the chance to complete the program within two years or to complete an honours degree in just three years.
Students participating in this scheme will have access to selected coursework and research studies in their first year, a summer semester project and priority access to an industry placement for their final year project.
As a result, these students will be able to complete basic degree requirements in two years instead of the normal three, or to complete an honours degree in three years instead of the normal four.
