Clunies Ross Winner Prof. Stuart Crozier

In May 2012, Stuart Crozier was awarded a prestigious Clunies Ross Award by the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE). The award was established in 1991 by the Ian Clunies Ross Memorial Foundation, and has become one of the pre-eminent awards for scientists, technologists and innovators across Australia. Stuart Crozier was presented with a Clunies Ross Award for his substantial contributions to engineering in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology. Roughly 70% of all MRI systems manufactured worldwide since 1997 bear Prof. Crozier’s mark in some way, and he holds an impressive 30 patents in the field of medical imaging. Previous award winners include Dr John Parker FTSE, Dr David Skellern, Professor Ian Frazer, and Professor Iven Mareels FTSE.
