Please join the CoEDL-UQ team for a Showcase of our research work in the fields of social technology (robotics), technology to support people living with dementia, transcription and linguistic technology and documentation of Indigenous languages.  The Showcase will be followed by a public lecture by Dr Daniel Dor (Tel Aviv University) and will be held at the UQ Art Gallery in conjunction with the Still in my mind: Gurindji experience, location and visuality exhibition.

Dr Daniel Dor is the author of The Instruction of Imagination: Language as a Social Communication Technology (OUP, 2015) – a new conceptual framework for the description, analysis and explanation of human language as a socially-constructed communication technology.
