Free workshops for linguists to learn about corpus cleanliness, data preparation for speech-to-text systems, and methods for sharing and structuring transcriptions and lexicons.

Thursday 28th Sept: Research, archiving, and building a clean corpus  Plus an information session about preparing your data in readiness for an upcoming speech-to-text workshop with Google's Daan van Esch at CoEDLfest 2018.  This workshop will be facilitated by Tom Honeyman and Ben Foley.

Friday 29th Sept: An introduction to computational tools for linguists, including Git version control, and how to format your data for validation, collaboration and interdisciplinary sharing Facilitated by Nay San and Ben Foley.
