Did somebody say UQ was all theory and not enough practice?  Our programs have a core component of project work, using the latest technology.  The projects simulate design and delivery of a product or service in a teamwork situation - an approach strongly supported by our employer advisers.  Students can complete their projects with industry and are required to complete a minimum period of industrial experience before graduating.
    
6. Our programs also involve site visits and compulsory industrial experience in real workplaces.  Eligible students can work for up to a whole semester at a partner company site in Australia or overseas, as part of their studies.
