 SAP Internships for ITEE Honours and Postgraduate Coursework Students

The SAP Research CEC Brisbane is looking for highly skilled, innovative, and motivated students to undertake projects in a variety of areas, including, but not limited to Business Process Management, Semantic Interoperability, Knowledge Management, Security and Trust. Project work may involve analyzing the state of the art of a specific technology area, software architecting and prototyping, and developing innovative solutions as well as documenting and presenting the research results.

Commencement

Honours year or after 1 semester full time for masters students

Minimum GPA 5.0 or equivalent

Remuneration 

(up to) AUD2000/month

The internship will provide a unique opportunity to gain valuable industry experience during your study. You will be working in a team of world-class researchers. Interaction will be intensive and rewarding. It is a unique opportunity to build contacts in the industry as a stepping stone for a future career.
Students who are successful in entering and successfully completing the internship program will also be provided with a certificate by the School.

How to Apply

Students wishing to apply should prepare a study plan of their final year of study, incorporating the internship period (4 – 6 months).  You have the flexibility of undertaking the internship in semester 1 or 2. Summer semester may be included within your internship period if required. Guidelines for preparing the study plan are as below:

1. Download template and instructions for study plan approval
2. Complete study plan approval form 
3. Contact academic advisor to discuss and get approval

To apply, submit your CV, academic record, approved study plan and a covering letter, stating your preferred area of interest to postgrad_coursework@itee.uq.edu.au. Make sure the application is submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the planned commencement of the internship according to your study plan.
