Throughout its history, the University has relied on the support of its alumni and friends to augment the funding provided by the Federal Government to maintain the quality of its staff, programs and facilities.
Currently, less than 50% of budgeted revenue comes from Federal Government funding. For ongoing and future needs, the University is reliant on sources of external funding including gifts, endowments and research grants. Philanthropic support has become essential to maintain UQ as a world class university.
Your gift to the University can help fund facilities, programs, research and scholarships. You can designate your gift for a particular School or program or leave your gift unrestricted.
There are a number of ways to give to UQ including endowments and bequests, with all donations gratefully received.
If you would like to offer a donation, endowment or bequest to the School of ITEE, please contact the UQ Advancement Office.
