Welcome to APWeb
2006 APWeb'06 is the eighth in this series of international conferences on WWW Technologies. It aims at bringing together researchers and practitioners from both academic and industry to exchange knowledge on WWW-related technologies and new advanced applications. Previous APWeb conferences were held in Beijing (1998), Hong Kong (1999), Xi'an (2000), Changsha (2001), Xi'an (2003), Hangzhou (2004) and Shanghai (2005). APWeb 2006 features 5 invited keynote speeches by internationally renowned research leaders, a panel with leading researchers, 56 regular papers and 42 short papers selected from 413 submissions, two advanced seminars, two industry sessions, two demo sessions, three special sessions on e-water, and four research workshops. APWeb 2007 will be combined with WAIM 2007. In collaboration with ACM SIGMOD and the Database Society of China, the combined APWeb/WAIM 2007 Conference will be an officially associated conference of ACM SIGMOD/PODS 2007 (to be held in July 2007, Beijing, China). APWeb/WAIM 2007 will be held immediately after SIGMOD/PODS 2007, in the beautiful mountain area of Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain) – the only dual World Heritage listed area in China for its astonishing natural beauty and rich and well preserved culture. ® news and announcements [Feb 20 2006] Conference Proceedings Update The proceedings have finally arrived in Harbin on 18 Feb. We will start to send the proceedings to all authors and delegates. If you haven't sent your post address to the conference organisers, pls do so asap (see the message below). We apologise for this lengthy delay. Below is the track information for TNT to deliver the proceedings, and we are now asking Springer to investigate the causes of such lengthy delay. They were supposed to arrive in Harbin on 6 Jan (10 days before our conference dates!):

We are contacting Springer and TNT to find out the reasons and responsibilities of noon-arrival of the proceedings, which supposed to arrive in Harbin on 6 Jan. At the same time, you should be able find the detail sof your papers at DBLP website (pages numbers, volume number etc).
