Clint Heyer

I am a PhD student, studying in the field of mobile social computing. In paricular, I'm looking at ways of using technology to bring informal social groups together so they can have fun. In a sense, its mateware - it lets you coordinate, communicate and share with your mates.

There are also a number of methodological issues surrounding mobile social system design which I'm also investigating.

Personal Stuff
I'm into photography, alternative music, British comedy and hacking code. Sports-wise, I enjoy snow skiing and beach volleyball. The skiing conditions have not been favourable in Brisbane for sometime, so I tend to play beach more than go skiing. I also enjoy summers in Rangoon, luge, and I have a fear of burlap bags. There's also a personal website, too.
