These challenge problems vary in difficulty but can be solved using nothing more than the Java techniques introduced in the corresponding chapter of Java Genesis. They are intended for students who feel that they have mastered the course work and are looking for problems that take them beyond what is required in the course assessment.
Please note that the tutors will not offer assistance with these problems. Furthermore, although we do have solutions to all the problems, these solutions will not be published. In other words, deliberately you will be left entirely to your own devises if you decide to tackle any of these problems. Having said that, however, we believe that anyone who is prepared to put in the effort to solve these problems will find them immensely rewarding.
