Project plan

10%

Students are required to keep an online journal and all development notes for assessment of their project development and planning.

Participation

15%

Students will be expected to sign up for discussions (journal club style) and present at least once. Participation marks will be awarded based on evidence of an active exploration of the types of applications across the semester.

Mid-semester review

20%

Students will receive feedback and an appraisal report on their working prototype or proof of concept.

Written article

15%

Each student is required to submit a design document of their individual work from the project with explanations of their work process within a design context accompanying their final project.

Project demonstration

40%

Each group is required to provide a demonstration of their working application.
