Introduction
Computer Systems Architecture II is an advanced course covering graduate-level material. While the course follows the prescribed book closely, use of the book is selective: some areas are covered in considerably more depth than others. In addition to the book, you are expected to take an interest in research literature in this area.
Lectures will include references to current industry practice and research.
The pace will generally be fast: taking this course without the background of COMP3200 is not recommended, though we will review key concepts. If you are rusty on this material, previewing Appendix A of the prescribed book is recommended.
