10 Sep 2009: Presented a summary of recent advanced anesthesia monitoring displays research to human factors experts in Thales in Delft, Netherlands.
10 Sep 2009: Co-authored an abstract/oral presentation with Dylan Campher (QH Skills Development Centre) for the SimTecT 2009 Healthcare Simulation Conference.
6 Sep 2009: Presented a full paper at the IEEE Symposium on Wearable Computers which co-won the Best Paper award.
16 Jul 2009: Visited the Pediatric Anesthesia Research Team at the BC Children's Hospital (Vancouver, Canada) with Matthias Goerges.
25 Jun 2009: Presented a talk at the The University of Queensland on my Fulbright experiences so far, hosted by the UQ Student Chapter of HFES.
16-28 Jun 2009: Data collection for a study evaluating the mechanical lungs in full-scale patient simulators at the QH Skills Development Centre.
16 Jan 2009: Presented three abstracts at the Society for Technology in Anesthesia Annual Meeting with an invited podium presentation during the Best Abstract awards session.
13 Jan 2009: Presented an astract at the International Meeting on Simulation in Healthcare (3rd Place for Best Abstract in Research Technology awards).
29 Dec 2008: Relocated to Salt Lake City, UT (USA) to begin my Fulbright scholarship.
