Deacon is a digitally-enhanced aged-care environment that facilitates independent living through mediated community and family monitoring and intervention. This collaborative project with DSTC is to build a modest, low-cost prototype of both an instrumented living environment, a home gateway, and a remote monitoring environment to act as a concept demonstrator in the space of digital aged care.
