Currency converter

Payment of fees must accompany the application for registration. Confirmation of registration and accommodation will be sent on receipt of application for registration. Visa, Bankcard and MasterCard are the only credit cards accepted for payment of registration fees. International delegates wishing to pay by cheque should provide an international bank draft, in Australian Dollars, drawn on an Australian Bank and free of all charges. Cheques should be made payable to “The University of Queensland – ICFPT04”. All fees quoted are expressed in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and include the 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

A Tax Invoice will be issued with the receipt of registration and should be retained for your taxation purposes. Unless otherwise requested in writing at the time of sending the application for registration, the Tax Invoice will be in the name of the delegate.

Registration fees cover the following:

• Morning / afternoon teas and lunches on all three days
• Delegate satchel and Conference Program
• CD-ROM and printed copy of proceedings

Student registration fees cover the following:

• Attendance at all the conference sessions including the reception and conference dinner

Social Functions (Attendance Included in Registration Fee)

Monday 6 December: Reception. Additional tickets: AUD$45 (including GST)
Tuesday 7 December: Conference Dinner at the River Canteen on the banks of the Brisbane River. Additional tickets: AUD$85 (including GST)

Proceedings

Additional copy of printed proceedings: AUD$60 (including GST)
Additional copy of CD-ROM proceedings: AUD$15 (including GST)

Cancellation Policy

• All cancellations of attendance must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat
• Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the Conference after submitting a application for registration and payment are welcome to nominate a substitute
• No refunds are available for authors of accepted papers
• A full refund, less a cancellation fee of AUD$150 will be made on cancellations received before 1 November 2004
• No refund is possible for cancellations made after 1 November 2004
• Accommodation cancellations received after 19 November may forfeit the first night's deposit
• Refunds will be subject to the cancellation charges levied by the accommodation venue
• Accommodation deposits will also be forfeited if the room is not occupied on the requested check-in date

Privacy

Personal information, as defined under the national privacy legislation, The Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2001, will be treated in accordance with the National Privacy Principles and only shared with related or third parties in accordance with those principles. Please complete the section of the application for registration relating to privacy if you do not wish your personal information to be included in the Participant List to be distributed to participants at the conference.
