Jie Shao is a PhD student of
Data and Knowledge Engineering Research
Group,
School of Information Technology & Electrical Engineering in the University of
Queensland. He is currently working on Multimedia Database (High-dimensional
Indexing, Dimensionality Reduction, Time Series Analysis, Similarity Query Processing for Video
Search, etc.) with
Dr. Heng Tao Shen and
Prof. Xiaofang Zhou. He graduated from
Southeast University, China in 2004 with a
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. Form 2004 to 2005, he worked as a software
developer for China Minsheng
Banking Corp.,Ltd.
