What I was trying to say was, that if you go for the expensive big
parts, then there is the PowerPC core in the VirtexII Pro.
So I try to concentrate on the Spartan IIe & III for the microblaze.

Not really uclinux, but a lot of others.
(embedded linux on PowerPC for one ...)

I don't need Ethernet for my application. But if I find some spare pins,
probably I think about it. It's always much easier to debug using
ethernet ...
