[microblaze-uclinux] mbvanilla_ddr update
Hi everyone,
I've tweaked the mbvanilla_ddr project to work properly under XPS. The
new release (2.00f) also includes a few minor fixups to prevent unused
signals being randomly assigned to pins. Get it from the usual spot:

Supporting XPS is tricky, because of the way it works (in EDK3.2 at
least). XPS insists on being in control, re-writing all of the project
files (MHS, MSS, Makefile etc), every time you make a change or save the
project. There are (were?) also some instabilities that sometimes
caused the PBD (the "schematic-like" system drawings) to get out of sync
with the MHS.
The moral of the story is that if you try to work both with XPS, and
also at the Xygwin command line, you are on track for a world of hurt.
The EDK team were aware of some of these issues, so hopefully EDK6.1
will be a bit better in this regard.
We expect to receive EDK 6.1 in the next few weeks, so there will
probably be another release of mbvanilla_ddr then to ensure compatability.
Cheers,
John
