This is why I find the EDK to be one of most unpleasant software products
that I use for doing things behind my back - and also why when Xilinx
tried to persuade me I should use it to do everything my response was that
I would get rid of it completely if that were at all possible.
Literally days of wasted time are trivial when modifying hardware designs
and I usually have to close EDK completely after making a single change to
ensure that it will sync the various files - then there is the fact that
saving does not necessarily mean what one might assume it does.

``Welcome to my world of pain''. :-).

Unless they never used the software they must be driven crazy with the
general unreadiness of that prouct to see the light of day.
On a different note I am still on and off looking at this bug in xmbserial
which seems to be related to file open operations and inherited file
descriptors but is kind of hard to explain - sometimes I see it and other
times everything just works normally.
