[microblaze-uclinux] tcp/ip is a go!
Hi everyone,
I'm happy to report that tcp/ip networking on microblaze uclinux (with
the Xilinx MAC core) is up and running!
Tested applcations/protocols so far are just telnet and tftp. I'll look
into configuring boa or some other webserver soon, just to test it out.
I've just completed my first ever network kernel upgrade, meaning that i
pulled a new kernel image over the network and dumped it into the flash,
all from within a uclinux shell session. I then rebooted into the new
image. This will make the development cycle a lot easier, as it is no
longer necessary to drop back to xmd to upload images and so on.
My next objective is NFS support, so that workstation directories can be
mounted directly on the microblaze, speeding things even more.
As always, the CVS contains the up-to-date source code for the driver
and so on.
Regards,
John
