Re: [microblaze-uclinux] SystemAce and mb-uClinux

Hi Erik,

I just build a kernel with the sysace driver, but my actual hardware has
no sysace in it. On bootup, it just hangs at

Initializing SystemAce driver

Although interrupts are still going (the LED keeps flashing).

Have you tried the driver without hardware present? Is it reasonable to
modify the driver so it can gracefully abort if the hardware isn't
present? Or is it reasonable that the user shouldn't select the driver,
if they don't have the hardware? :)

Any thoughts?

John
