We have successfully run thttpd with cgi on microblaze uclinux with
smc91111.c with small patch that I posted here a few days ago. IIRC,
I didn't change any file for arp.
However, I broke my kernel tree a few days ago and now network is not
working at all...
anyway, what you can do is to see why the kernel is dumpping arp
broadcast packet. (with printk perhaps?)
I'm sorry that I can't pinpoint the problem...
