Re: [microblaze-uclinux] ZFLAT bug
Hi Pizza,
I think there are (at least) two possible causes for this:
(1) the flat binary is corrupted somewhere between elf2flt and being
read on the microblaze board. Filesystem issues, memory bugs (processes
writing where they shouldn't etc) can cause this.
(2) there's a bug in elf2flt / binfmt_flat.c for microblaze support.
option 2 is certainly not impossible - I recently discovered and fixed
such a bug, but it was the first in about 6 months, so...
But you say that the file works fine if you don't compress it? That's
odd - I've never seen any problems with the compression/decompression
side of elf2flt...
What is the application? Is it something from uClinux-dist, or your own?
Cheers,
John
