I think that's your answer!!  I can't imagine what's going on to cause 
it - normally uClinux would choke when trying to load an improper 
binary.  See how you go with the "in-tree" build.  I used the out of 
tree instructions yesterday and the makefile worked without change, so 
not sure what's going on there.
