Hi Emanuel,

 We use the spartan 2E 600 LC board...which has 
abt 8k BRAM(+cache)...yes..it is less..my boot-
loader elf executable is abt 16k in size...but
I "mb-strip"d it..so now it is abt 2k which is
good enuff for me..i still have 6k left which i
can use for the xmdstub if and when i decide to
use it....currently i am using the mdm module for disassembly,debug etc...

 maybe if i decide that my bootloader should
do more work than what it is currently doing
..even in that case i still have some BRAM free
for use..and currently it is written in C...
assembly might further reduce the BRAM requirement
....anyways the point is I still do not know
what else the internal BRAM could be used for
apart from its possible use as an extension of
cache... 

any information on this is most welcome...
