Re: [microblaze-uclinux] ML300 board?
Dear Ron,
Thanks a lot for your email. That gives me a chance to say sorry to John
for my laziness in responding emails. (John, very sorry!)
I tried the design sent to me by John. However, I am unable to get it
working. :-( I am not sure how to download the uCLinux image to the
board. I thought of using MDM, but I failed to detect any working MDM
JTAG chain that allow me to use "dow" to download the image. I must have
missed something here.
For some reasons, I am now using the MicroC/OS-II real-time OS with the
MicroBlaze. I can run my designs on the ML300 board as well as a
Spartan-3 board from Nu Horizons. However, even though MicroC/OS-II is
open-source, it is not free. If you are also working for a university,
we should be able to get the permission from Jean, its creator and share
the design.
I am still very interested in uCLinux if any one would kindly like to
keep me posted.
Thanks a lot!
