RE: [microblaze-uclinux] Suzaku CLB's for user extension

Guenter,

I‘d suggest you visit the Xilinx Embedded System, IP Sizing Calculator URL:

http://www.xilinx.com/ipcenter/processor_central/ppcip/calc.htm

This will enable you to scope out the ball-park logic consumption for a system of your intended architecture

Regards

Simon

Subject: [microblaze-uclinux] Suzaku CLB's for user extension

Hi,

are there any numbers about how many CLB's are used by the MicroBlaze

for uClinux on the Suzaku (Spartan3) board for example? I guess that

depends on what parts are implemented of the MicroBlaze, but lets say

the blocks used for uClinux with Ethernet support, like on the Suzaku

board. That would be something like:

* MB core

* Timer

* UART

* Mem-Ctrl

* Ethernet

* GPIO

* BRAM

Thanks in advance for the information.

Regards,

Guenter
