[microblaze-uclinux] Suzaku Microblaze board freeze
Hello and thank you very much for admitting me to the mailing list,
I'm in the process of developing the firmware for the
Microblaze-based Suzaku board by Atmark Techno.
I have encountered seemingly inevitable crashes of the board under high load.
I can provoke this behaviour by doing "cat /dev/urandom >/dev/null &" on the
board and then continously pinging it from my PC (normal ping, no
flood-ping). In my case it takes less than half an hour until the board
freezes.
If I start the above command in foreground the effect goes away and I can
"cat /dev/urandom >/dev/null" without any freezes.
Currently I have only a single board for testing so I'm not sure if it's a
general bug or just my board (FPGA) doing this. I'd be very glad if someone
would try to reproduce this on his own hardware.
Best regards,
eike
