[microblaze-uclinux] tricks to get more performance?

Hi,

are some lib functions of uclinux known as
specially hardware-supported for the microblaze
and that's why faster? For instance memcpy() vs.
strncpy()...

I've also read about the new optimized memcpy()
and I wonder if more bytes than 4 can be copied
in parallel in an FPGA.
