Is it necessary to bring the "libxil.a" file over from the XPS build directory to the uClinux-dist build directory, like you do the "auto-config.in" file? Are there any other files that need to be moved over after updating the XPS project and before re-building the kernel/dist? Is it ok to link to these files from the "uClinux-dist" directory structure, instead of moving them over each time the XPS project is updated? I'm running XPS under WindowsXP and compiling the kernel/dist in a Linux virtual machine running on the same machine under control of VMware Workstation 4.5; any known issues/problems with taking that approach?
