I'm thrilled that you have finally got this going, and also feeling 
quietly smug that it was not a problem in the kernel and/or auto-config :)

The lesson here is that the very first thing we must recommend to people 
attempting a port, is to make sure their memory subsystems work as they 
should!  A decent memtest applet would be helpful here.

Anyway well done - I could swear I heard your whoop of delight all the 
way across the Pacific Ocean, as you witnessed your first login prompt :)

PS My email client (Mozilla 1.7 on Linux) doesn't like your archive 
attachments - they just appear as "winmail.dat".  Any ideas?
