[microblaze-uclinux] AC_DIVERT_HELP ncurses error for mutt in uClinux

hello
actually when i added muut in uClinux-dist/user
i got an error like
"no curses library found"
so i downloaded the tar version of ncurses
and did
 ./configure --target=mb- --host=i686-pc-linux-gnu
for configuring ncurses for microblaze-uclinux.

i got the following error
--------------------------------------------------
./configure: line 4573: syntax error near unexpected token `Build-Tools'
./configure: line 4573: `AC_DIVERT_HELP(Build-Tools Needed to Compile Temporary Applications for Cross-compiling:)'
----------------------------------------------
how do i elliminate this error 
i am not able to figure out what are the temporary files.
and what should i do with AC_DIVERT_HELP .
