Well as its me that is setting up  and running the board for a few lecturers
I'm going to start with the resources I have and can get for free - 
uclinux to start with.

More interested in the projects running on top than the underlying os.

If there is a full linux port for v2pro that I can use with minimal work
I may give it a whirl.

Same with a signalwave board (lyretech) that they have here and no one 
is using yet.
 XC2V3000 + Ti 6713 each with 32 MB
which I'm also supposed to get going and set up for others to use.

I'd like to start now but need to pass my subjects this semester 
(undergrad).
