Hi John,
I think can help you here.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE THE EXPORT feature !!
You must create a ISE toplevel project, and ADD EDK system as submodule
there.
you may need some tweaking at first setup, but after that it works very
well.
I usually
1 create a EDK project, in EDK
2 then and ISE project, with 'fake' empty EDK submodule
3 then copy over the EDK project into the ISE directory
4 fixup things
the [4] may be a bit complicated at first time, but it only need to be done
once, after its done the ISE toplevel is useable as master project.
important DO NOT USE EXPORT IMPORT from EDK after this, there is no need
also.
