Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Can't boot s3mb1500 Memec board
Hi Jon,
I had the very same issue before - I was trying to boot a V2p7 chip with
uClinux. It always "hung" at the same point as you showed below.
I never did figure out what was wrong, as I recently got an Ml401 board,
and used the reference designs for the bistream, and compiled the kernel
myself, and it now works!
In generating the SW (kernel) I did the same steps as I did for the V2p7
board - so I think I must have been doing this right, so my conclusion
is my error was on the HW side.
If you search the archives of thie mailing list for "Booting uClinux",
or just for any emails from me, then you should see the things I tried
to get it to work. Perhaps some of the suggestions there might help you
to get your system working. Unfortunatly, I never got it going.
Hope this is of some help!
John
