[microblaze-uclinux] Machine_Halt on Spartan 3 Starter Kit

Hi,

Im trying to get uClinux running on the Spartan 3 Starter Kit with only its
base 1MB ram.

I have run the basic memory test app that EDK generated, and that was
successful.

My image.bin is just under 800KB, must it be smaller still?

I can't figure out how to do a trace in the Xilinx Software Debugger, all I
know is that it ends up in Machine_Halt before it prints anything on the
console.

Can anyone tell me how to do a trace? The help says that StartTrace is only
supported on the PPC.

I really have no idea where to start looking for the problem.

Caches are disabled, 16KB of LMB ram, hardware multiply on.

Any advice would help.
