We have an interest in getting python going on the MicroBlaze as well -
there is an existing python app we need to run, requiring python2.2 or
greater.
I imported python2.2.1 into the uClinux dist, and can build the core
python interpreter - "hello world" works just fine.
However, python builds a lot of its extensions as dynamically linked
libraries which will not work on mb/uclinux.
Did you get anywhere with this in your python experimentation?
I can provide my patched python2.2 archive if you'd like to play with it.
Thanks,
John
