the "ifconfig" is working quit well.

 

I got the following when typing "ifconfig eth0"

I am wondering that, it has no base address at all. Is it the problem?

howcome the ARP is getting generated ? if you type "if! config eth0" can
you see the correct settings (IP,MAC etc) ?
is the ifconfig working?
