Re: [microblaze-uclinux] cannot ping (no ICMP packet)
Hai,
base adress doen't show up here, anyway I'm sure its defined in the MHS
othewise the ethernet comtroller wasn't able to trasmit packets.
you trouble is on RX side, or you link is up in the air.
Check if your UCF file is correct for the ethernet PHY chip (RX0..RX3,
RX CLK etc) and check if the inrerrupt for the ethernet is working
(cat /proc/interrupts)
Is the link led on the PFY chip on? what about the leds on the other end
of the wire are they on? (link led mainly) when you connect the cable
the PHY chip (external to the fpga) will negotiate a link (10 or 100
Mb/s) and the link led should be ON (on both ends)
