Yes, it's exactly what I'm experiencing, actually I have seen it
stopping at many different places of the boot processus !

So the toolchain I use is : gcc version 2.95.3-4 Xilinx EDK 6.3 Build
EDK_Gmm.12.2 (got it from John's website)

Which one did you use, where did you get it ?

I have also my EDK on my Windows computer (where I generate the
hardware)  that is not exactly the same version : Xilinx EDK 6.3 Build
EDK_Gmm.11.2+1. Could that play a role ?
