Re: [microblaze-uclinux] Kernel hangs when mounting /proc

Hello Valentin,
I'm not to far away from you, if your email address is also related with your location: EPFL in Lausanne? I'm from Zürich.
So I probably could help you with my installation. I've installed 6.3 on SuSE Linux 9.1 on a Laptop. My designs seems to work well on our custom boards, using a V2P20 and a S3-1500.
I could burn a DVD and send it to you.
I could also compile your project once on my machine, so you could check, if a difference results.

Kind regards,
Andreas Roland.

Hello,

Actually, I'm using EDK 6.3, and microblaze 3.x ! And I think Woutter
who had a similar problem also did.

And the problem of random crashes seems to be related to the tools, so I
don't know how to handle it !

I reiterate my demand for other toolchains : could someone give me one
or a link to it ? An older thant John's, but newer than the one on
Suzaku's site!

Thx

Valentin

hi Valentin,
I've seen discussions on the group that everyone who has use the 7.1
EDK microblaze, has experienced "random" crashes. I don't know if it is
microblaze 4.0 or the 7.1 environment. You could try using microblaze
3.x in your 7.1 EDK. That would probably work.
