RE: [microblaze-uclinux]

Hi Chuck,

To find external libraries, the linker needs to be passed a switch "-llibname".

For example, if I had a compiled library libfoo.a , gcc would need the switch -lfoo. It is probable that there is a switch in the EDK advanced compiler settings that you need to replicate in SDK.

Apologies, I am out of the office (spreading the word on uClinux actually) preaching uClinux actually!), so I cannot try this in detail. However, if you send me an example offline, I would be happy to get this working with you.

Best regards

Kris

Kris: I'm not ignoring you. I'm just trying to keep up.

The web.c problem was fixed with a new release of the web.c see web
case 585196.

What I really, really need help with is the Eclipse environment. How
do you make the compiler find external libraries. web.c is a perfect
example. It will work with the EDK but not under the eclipse
environment, at least as far as I've been able to figure out. Not
being able to take advantage of the SDK is really hurting me.

I'll try to be more specific about the other issues shortly.

Regards,

Chuck.
