RE: [microblaze-uclinux] ml403

I have finally gotten uclinux running at 100mhz on the ml403.  I still can not get it to run at the 66 mhz level.   I might try a make clean and rebuilding the kernel to see if that helps cause seems to have worked with the 100mhz but that was the first kernel I built for the 100mhz version.  So I can not be sure that fixed some of my problems.  I will try the 66mhz kernel build again tonight and let you know of my success or failure.

Also I am currently booting using the generic romfs what do I need to do to get the kernel to boot from on board flash and system ace?  Also what features should be enabled when building the kernel to make sure the ethernet, usb, flash devices, and everything else on the board is functional?  It seems the ehternet is working since it came back with a dhcp could not be found since i have not had a chance to hook it into a network yet.

Have you been able to get a trace to see where it dies?

I have had this problem twice now, where it dies after find_bootmap_pfn for
no apparent reason, and without printing anything.

A "make clean" followed by "make menuconfig;make dep;make" fixed it both
times...

Long shot but you don't have anything to loose...

I seemed to happen after I made major address changes in my hardware.

Thank you,
Errol

John here are the mhs and mss files.  AS before the hardware seem to build
fine but nit sure its 100% correct.  If it is ok then I am must not be
selecting the right options when building the kernel or something

Can you please repost just your MHS, MSS and auto-config.in files? Much
easier for a quick examination than downloading and unpacking a 3Mbyte
archive

John
