[microblaze-uclinux] Ethernet link loss

Hi all,

Running uClinux on a NuHo S3-2000 board. Ethernet port connected to a
router that is doing DHCP serving to give out an IP address (192.168.10.3).

On kernal boot, I get a

"Jan 1 00:01:34 dhcpcd[33]: infinite IP address lease time. Exiting"

message from the DHCP client daemon in uClinux, even though the router is
setup to give out a 1-hour lease.

System stays connected while I watch it (>> 1hour) , but sometime overnight,
gives

     "eth0: Link carrier lost.".

Changing the router to give 1 week leases doesn't change anything. DHCP
server reports that the IP address is still active. Link light on router is
off.

Thot's??
