[microblaze-uclinux] Microblaze ISS interface to C/C++?

Has anybody out there found a method of interfacing the Microblaze ISS 
to C/C++ code in general or SystemC in particular?

We have a peripheral described in SystemC which we would like to 
cosimulate with the ISS for large simulations rather than trying to do 
everything in RTL which is slow.
