David,
I didn't know that the speed option implemented fork(). However, I
don't think that would be the reason for Boa hanging.
It's not, someone asked in it was possible to run "openssl speed",
it will not be possible on a !MMU uClinux system.
I'll give scp a shot. If I can't get boa working (and SCP does), I
may be able to use that for my project purposes.
Others have it going (so it seems), so it should be possible ;-)
Cheers,
Davidm

Thanks for the info Ivan!
Are you able to execute the 'openssl speed' command in your
environment?
I do think that it is a problem with the (system/kernel)
configuration on my end, as the guide for openssl and boa+ssl don't
make any mention of hangs or failures.
openssl speed uses fork and has not been ported to uclinux AFAIK.
In fact, is will be a non-trvial change to make it work on
uClinux :-)
Try the apps, scp, ssh and use them to determine your performance,
Cheers,
Davidm
