[microblaze-uclinux] Microblaze SMP

Hey all,

  I found the man on campus working on SMP and microblaze. I directed him 
at the forum and hopefully he will register and post soon. From my 
discussion with him yesterday it seems that his design would not nearly have 
the functionality needed to run linux yet. At the moment he has two 
microblaze running on one OPB bus, but they run different software and 
operate differnet peripherals. Clearly not an SMP system yet, but that may 
be one of his project goals. I discussed the issue of cache coherency and 
transparency of the SMP to the rest of the toolchain, as I know those are 
big issues for getting a working SMP uCLinux box. He didn't immediately seem 
to have ideas about how to attack these problems. I'll keep you posted if I 
get any more info and hopefully he will come here himself and you can ask 
him things directly.

PS: Does anyone know of a pure Microblaze thread? I don't yet have a good 
feedback community for my more rudimentary Microblaze issues, and they 
certainly arent on the topic of uCLinux.
