[microblaze-uclinux] minicom not working

hi everyone,

i'm a greenhorn concerning linux. i've got a hello world application 
runing on my spartan3 s3mb1500 insight memec eval board (rev2). under 
winxp i can start a hyperterminal and set the boudrate to the defined 
value. every time i push reset fpga the desired text is displayed in the 
hyperterminal. with linux (cent os3.5) i can start minicom -s and set 
the desired boudrate, but there are many other settings...      :-(
i don't have any idea what to do with them. anyway, the text is never 
desplayed in the minicom....
what am i doing wrong ?
